A confusing political campaign poster has been spotted in Enugu.
This comes after the All Progressives Congress, APC, included a Senator of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in its Presidential Campaign Council.
Senator Chimaroke Nnamani of the PDP was listed among the 422-member presidential campaign council unveiled by the party last Friday.
In the poster, a photo of Senator Nnamani was seen alongside the photo of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
The caption ” Ebeano 4 Tinubu 2023″ can be see on the poster which was also carrying the logos of both the APC and PDP.
Reacting to the poster after it was shared online, Festus Keyamo, spokesman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, posted on twitter: “talk of friendship across tribal divides”.

Nnamani, a two-time former governor of Enugu State, won the 2019 election on the PDP platform to represent the Enugu East Senatorial District.
While the APC had earlier claimed that his inclusion in the APC presidential campaign council was done in error, Keyamo, who is also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has said that the move is deliberate.
Keyamo, during an interview on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics late Sunday, said the ruling APC has not violated provisions of the 1999 Constitution and the Electoral Act by adding the PDP chieftain’s name to the campaign council.
“What are the errors?” Keyamo retorted when asked if Nnamani’s name was added in error. “Well, all I can tell you now is that there has been no rebuttal on the part of Senator Nnamani. The rebuttal should come from that end (and), not from us.”
