The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, met with former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The former Lagos governor was accompanied to Jonathan’s residence in the federal capital territory by the APC vice-presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; and Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle.
Aside from the picture that surfaced online following the meeting, details of what was discussed are not yet known.
In recent times, APC stalwarts have made efforts to woo the former president to the ruling party.

In April, supporters of the former president — who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party — besieged his home in Abuja, calling on him to contest the 2023 presidential poll.
