The Presidential Campaign Council of the Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area in Lagos State on Friday held its inauguration of members at Ikejja GRA to further the campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
The Justice Committee forum, which metamorphosed to the Presidential Campaign Council, comprises inaugurated officers who are part of the modality to campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to Honourable Tunde Adenugba, the Presidential Campaign Committee secretary, Onigbongbo chapter is ready to start work on the 2027 Presidential election.
Adenugba added, “We are the committee on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Campaign for the 2027 Election.
“We are starting the work now, which is why we are here for the inauguration of members ahead of the forthcoming 2027 election.
“When you look at Lagos State as a whole, we have a lot of people in our party. But we are the Justice Forum, which is meant for the campaign of Asiwaju Tinubu and all APC elected officers.
“Throughout Lagos, we have 57 local governments, each has its Presidential Campaign Council established there, which is part of the modality to campaign for Tinubu. If you look at it, each ward has its Local Government, which Onigbongbo has its ward and all its members in the Presidential Campaign Council, but the people here are just executive members alone.”
Mr. Elias Olatokunbo Alli, an Executive Member, said the Presidential Council Committee has been set up to help promote the structures of Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 general election.
He added, “Based on advice of my leaders, the structure we want to build on is in the area of the high cost of living, as well as to reduce the price of commodities in the country. We have come together as a committee to help Bola Ahmed Tinubu tackle despondency as we look towards the future of the 2027 Presidential election.”
