President Buhari to meet with King Charles III

President Muhammadu Buhari will meet with His Royal Majesty, King Charles III in Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, November 9.

While the reason for the meeting is not clear, both leaders are expected to discuss bilateral relations and how the UK can help Nigeria in the fight against terrorism.

Recall that President Buhari left Nigeria for the UK for a medical checkup.

TheEditorial reported that King Charles III in October wrote Buhari to sympathize with the victims of flooding in many parts of Nigeria.

The British monarch said he was deeply saddened he was “to hear of the many people who have lost their loved ones and whose lives have been so dreadfully affected as a consequence of the devastating floods across Nigeria.”
