Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Flax has claimed that Arise TV correspondents were attacked at his polling unit in Ikate, Lekki.

In a Twitter post on Saturday, the rapper also alleged that the Arise TV crew was attacked in the presence of police officers.

Falz wondered why electorates would be forced to vote for a candidate who is not their choice.

Tweeting via his handle, @falzthebahdguy, he wrote, “I am so livid. This level of f**kery is unbelievable!

“A couple of Arise TV journalists were very badly beaten up at my polling unit. Of course, in the presence of Police officers!!!

“On the basis of which logic do you conclude that it’s okay to use force to get people to ‘vote’ for you?

“All you supporters and enablers of this fuckery are even more despicable. You know better, but you are EVIL at heart. You are VILE!”

Falz’s tweet on the attack was corroborated by Arise TV.

The news platform reported an attack on its crew members during the governorship and house of assembly elections in the Elegushi palace area of Lagos.

“The cameraman suffered facial injuries while drones and equipment have been seized,” it added.

Recall that during the presidential election on February 25, Falz was reported to have been attacked at his polling unit.

The singer later revealed that he recovered his phone which was stolen by thugs.
