Fayemi gets fresh doctorate degree from LASU for human rights

The Lagos State University, Ojo, has conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree on Kayode Fayemi, the former governor of Ekiti State.

A statement said Fayemi would receive the award, Doctor of Letters

(Human Rights, National Integration and African Security Development) on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

The statement reads further, “The Award is in recognition of His Excellency’s selfless service to humanity in the areas of protecting Human Rights, promoting National Integration and ensuring Africa is secure and developed.

“The conferment will take place on the said date at the main campus of the university along Lagos-Badagry Expressway Ojo, Lagos.

“His Excellency Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, who doubles as the Visitor to the university, will be physically present at the ceremony.”
