Tinubu appoints ex-Lagos CP, retired AIG Odumosu, as EFCC boss

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed retired AIG Hakeem Odumosu as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Odumosu, a former RRS Commander, was a former Lagos State Commissioner of Police and he was once assigned by former President Muhammadu Buhari as the Head of a Presidential Taskforce to decongest roads leading to Apapa Port.

Odumosu was until his new appointment the Government Liaison Officer for the Lagos State Parks Management Committee chaired by Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya aka Oluomo.

The new appointment is subject to his confirmation by the Senate.
