Trinity Guy to be charged to court over skit sexualising minor
Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said skit maker and prankster, Abdullahi Adisa, aka Trinity Guy, will be charged to court on Monday.
Adejobi said the Force had received several complaints against him from many non-governmental organisations.
He stated this in response to a tweet made by a tweep, Sahaabah where he asked that the content creator be locked up for a long time.
He said, “I truly wish it didn’t take this long to isolate this nuisance from the society. Nonetheless, thank you @NigerianPolice and @Princemoye1.
“Please keep him away for a very long time.”
Reacting to Sahaabah’s comment, Prince Adejobi said, “He will surely be charged to court on Monday. We have received several complaints against him, and many groups, NGOs, and CLOs are interested in the case. There is no sentiment in law, like I always say. Other should be able to learn from his actions and inactions.
“Many have reached out to me on this case, but L have made it known that it’s not a personal thing. It’s the provision of the law, decency, and morals.”
Recall that Adisa, earlier on Friday, honoured the invitation of the Oyo State Police Command over one of his skits.
He was accused of sexualizing a female minor in a trending video clip.
