Organised labour suspends nationwide strike
The Joint National Executive Council meeting of the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria has suspended the strike over the battering of the NLC President, Joe Ajaero and increment in salaries, among other issues.
The strike was suspended following the intervention of the Federal Government through the Office of the National Security Adviser.
Discussions on the labour demands is expected to continue
