Remi Tinubu laments Rotimi Akeredolu’s death, says Nigeria lost great man
Wife of Nigeria President, Oluremi Tinubu, on Saturdaysaid with the death of former governor Rotimi Akeredolu, Nigeria has lost a great man.
She noted that Akeredolu was a great man and would be solidly missed.
Speaking while paying condolence visit to Ibadan, Oyo State residence of the Akeredolus, Mrs Tinubu stated that Akeredolu has done his best, describing him as a great man love by her family, her husband and many Nigerians.
The first lady said, “We can only wish that the legacies he left behind continue to endure forever. I wish his wife, his children, grandchildren and the family; that God will comfort them and also ease their pains.
“They should live with the fact that the man has done well, he has done well to people, he will be solidly missed and may his soul rest in perfect peace.
“I keep asking when somebody asks people if somebody is alright or is he sick, I asked who is well? We all have one ailment or the other, and it is only God that gives us each day to live by.”
