Trump blames Biden after conviction for falsifying business record
Former US President Donald Trump has blamed his conviction by a Manhattan court on President Joe Biden.
Speaking to journalists after the verdict was read by the judge, Trump also said the judge was “conflicted and corrupt.”
He added that the trial was rigged and a disgrace.
According to him, the real verdict will come on November 5 Presidential election.
The verdict makes Trump the first criminally convicted former US president but does not prevent him from campaigning for another term.
Biden’s campaign issued a statement saying that the trial showed “no one is above the law.” It added that “the threat Trump poses to our democracy has never been greater.”
