Police arrest suspected killers of retired General Uwem Udokwere

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has arrested the killers of the retired Brig.-Gen. Uwem Udokwere.

The killers were said to have invaded the late general’s residence in the Sunshine Homes area of Lokogoma, in Abuja.

CSP Victor O Godfrey, the Divisional Police Office of Utako Police Division was said to have led the operation during which four suspects were arrested in connection to the incident that occurred on Saturday.

The WHISTLER reports that the suspects, all residents of the Apo area of the FCT had confessed to attacking and killing the general.

A situation report obtained by THE WHISTLER gave the names of the suspects as Ibrahim Rabiu, 33; Nafiu Jamil, 33; Aliyu Abdullahi, 47; Mohammed Nuhu, 28.

The police are still trying to recover the two pistols stolen at the general’s house.
