Supreme Court affirms Uzodinma, Ododo as winners of Imo, Kogi gov elections

The Supreme Court has affirmed the re-election of Hope Uzodinma as the authentic governor of Imo state.

The Apex court also confirmed Usman Ododo’s victory in the November 11, 2023, governorship election for Kogi State

In Imo, the Supreme Court  dismissed the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its governorship candidate, Samuel Anyawu and that of the Labour Party and its candidate, Achonu Nneji for lacking in merit.

The court equally dismissed the appeal from Muri Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party in Kogi State.
