A female SS3 student of Saint Monica’s Girls’ Secondary School in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State has been shot dead by gunmen.
Theeditorial.ng gathered that the victim, Charity Eze, was gunned down at about 10pm on Friday at her residence, No 38, Idikwu Road, Otukpo.
The student was said to have gone out to remove clothes lined on a rope in their compound when two gunmen who had scaled the fence shot her on the head severally.
The victim was said to be writing the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination.
The police spokesperson in Benue State, Catherine Anene, said she was away from office and not disposed to react to any issue at the time of this report.
