Snoop Dogg loses granddaughter

The 10-month-old granddaughter of American rapper Snoop Dogg has died.

Her mother announced this on social media following months of medical complications linked to her premature birth

Codi Dreaux, daughter of Snoop Dogg’s youngest child, Cori Broadus, died on January 26, Broadus said in a post shared on Instagram Stories.

She posted a black-and-white photograph of herself holding the infant, writing, “Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” accompanied by an angel wing emoji.

The child’s father, Wayne Deuce, also confirmed the death in a separate social media post, sharing photographs of himself with the baby and writing, “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.”
