P-Square Paul Okoye surprises daughter after ex-wife’s request

Anita Okoye is full of gratitude after her ex-husband, Paul Okoye of the P-Square, showed up in a big way for their daughter, Nadia.

The singer, who was in Atlanta where Anita lives, stepped out for a special daddy-daughter dance with his mini-me and the heart-melting video of them twirling together had fans swooning.

Taking to Instagram, Anita shared a clip from the emotional and revealed that the evemt has been a sore spot for Nadia lasy year after he missed it.

This year, I made one simple request… SHOW UP FOR HER.

According to her Nadia had already made preparation for the possibility that hat her father will not come.

“Nadia, determined as ever, told me, ‘Mama, buy the ticket. If my dad can’t make it, you’re coming with me, and we’re going to have fun.’
She picked her dress, styled me in a blazer (because apparently I needed direction), and was ready either way.”

Behind the scenes, however, Anita had been working quietly with Paul for months, hoping to pull off a surprise.

“What she didn’t know… I was quietly coordinating with her dad behind the scenes for MONTHS. I was anxious. I prayed. I released it to God.
And then he texted, ‘I’M HERE.’”
