Atiku, other dignitaries attend El-Rufai mother’s burial in Abuja

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Sunday led dignitaries that attended the funeral prayers of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, mother of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

The burial took place in Abuja.

Recall that the family on Saturday confirmed that the Janazah prayer will be held at the National Mosque in Central Area, Abuja, followed by her burial at Gudu Cemetery, Apo.

The dignitaries that attended the funeral included the National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Niger State Governor Abdullahi Bago, former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, business mogul Aliko Dangote, Senator Aminu Tambuwal and former Minister Isa Patanmi.
