Tinubu meets with APC governors at Villa

President Bola Tinubu is meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House, Abuja.

Governors in attendance are the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Hope Uzodimma (Imo); Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe); Prof. Babagana Zulum (Borno); Hyacinth Alia (Benue); Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti); Peter Mbah (Enugu); and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara).

Some states were represented by their deputy governors.

The meeting, initially scheduled for 4pm in the Council Chamber, began around 5pm after being moved to the President’s Office Conference Room.

The meeting came barely 24 hours after the President held an emergency closed-door meeting with the leadership of the Senate in his office.
