Hamzat submit APC forms for Lagos governorship ticket

Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has officially submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the 2027 governorship election at the APC national secretariat in Abuja.
He said the move reflects his commitment to service, responsible leadership, and sustaining Lagos’ developmental progress.
Speaking after the submission, Hamzat described his decision as a duty to the people of Lagos and an opportunity to build on the state’s achievements.
He stressed that the journey is about creating a Lagos that works better for families, businesses, and residents, while noting that more work is needed to strengthen infrastructure, improve public service delivery, and deepen economic growth.
While acknowledging the progress made through collaborative governance, Hamzat said his experience and understanding of Lagos’ geography and history position him to project the state’s potential further.
He reiterated his readiness to work with residents and stakeholders to keep Lagos as a model of inclusive growth, innovation, and prosperity in Nigeria.
