Abia ex-gov, Ikpeazu inducted as MSBMB college fellow

Immediate Past Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has been inducted into the College of Fellows of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

The induction ceremony took place today at the University of Port Harcourt.

The induction was said to be in recognition of Ikpeazu’s contribution to the body of knowledge in the area of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Ikpeazu holds the First, Masters and Doctorage degrees in different aspects of Biochemistry. He taught the course at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in different Nigerian universities before the call for politics came.

He said it was his dream to attain Professorship in the field and has over 80 scientific articles published in different local and international journals.

He is also a co-author of the Book, THE BIOCHEMISTRY OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION.

He is also a Fellow of the Nigeria Environmental Society.
