Atiku, Imoke, Tambuwal visit Obasanjo in Ogun, keep mum on purpose

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 general election, held  a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday.

Atiku was the Vice-President to Obasanjo between 1999 and 2007.

The former Vice President arrived the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex, Abeokuta in company of with political leaders; Aminu Tambuwal and Liyel Imoke.

The purpose of the meeting was not revealed to journalists.

Atiku told journalists, “I am not going to talk about politics, it is a courtesy visit and I am not going to say anything.”

The duo of Imoke and Tambuwal, who is now a senator representing Sokoto South in the Senate, equally refused to comments on the purpose of the visit to Obasanjo.
