Atiku, other celebrities mourn Davido’s son death

Since the news of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi’s death became public knowledge, Nigerians have been sending condolence messages on Twitter and other social media platforms.
The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, wrote, “My thoughts and prayers are with Davido and Chioma and the Adeleke family at this time. I pray for God to strengthen and comfort them. -AA”
Also, the Special Assistant to the President on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmed, wrote, “My thoughts and prayers are with @Davido, who has lost a son, Ifeanyi. No parent should experience losing a child in such an unfortunate incident. May God comfort him and Chioma, the mother of the child.”
Earlier, some celebrities had posted cryptic messages, including comedians Ayo Makun and Lasisi Elenu, radio personality Daddy Freeze.
Makun, in an Instagram post early Tuesday, wrote, “The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad.”
Daddy Freeze, who went live on Instagram in the early hours of Tuesday morning said, “When the person you love is someone involved it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me I will not be live tonight.”
Lasisi Elenu also posted, “Father, heal your children’s heart from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord.”
Reality TV star and actress, Rosemary Afuwape, said on her Instagram story, “My heart can’t take this. This is so painfully unbearable. Chioma and Davido please accept my condolences. No amount of words can comfort your hearts. I am truly sorry for your loss.”
Also, singer Paul Play Dairo wrote, “I’m really lost for words. This is really painful. Take heart, David.”
Muyiwa Ademola wrote, “It is one of the saddest thing when kids are being buried by parents. We really wish it never happened! May The Almighty gives the parents and the entire Adeleke family the strength to bear this loss.”
Actress Iyabo Ojo, mourning, said, “I don’t even know how to react to this rude shock. I was hoping it wasn’t true. My God!!! This is so shocking, sad, devastating and extremely painful
Olorun!!! Ikunle abiamo.”
Media personality Toolzo on Twitter wrote, “Praying for healing, comfort & strength for David & Chioma. So heartbreaking.”
British rapper and singer, Stephanie Allen, popularly known by her stage name Stefflon Don, took to her verified Twitter handle to pray for the singer. She tweeted, “Prayers for Davido and Chioma.”
Singer Waje wrote, “Can you guys just pray for David’s and chioma’s family and let them know we are here for them. That’s all they need right now. Love and support. Be kind to one another.”.
