Buhari holiday: Exams will proceed as scheduled and unaffected – NECO

The National Examination Council (NECO) has said the ongoing Senior Certificate Examination will not be affected by the public holiday declared by the Federal Government to honour late President Mohammadu Buhari, who died on Sunday at the age of 82.

In a statement with the title Important Notice to All Officers Posted, signed by one Ahmed Rabiu Bagwai, the examination body said, “This is to inform you that the examination will proceed as scheduled, unaffected by the public holiday declaration.

“Please ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.”
