Burna Boy, Davido, Ojo, others storm Threads

Since the unveiling of Thread, a new social media app by Meta, many Nigerian celebrities including actors, musicians have joined it.

The app, which was launched on Thursday, July 6, 2023, has many similar features with Elon Musk’s Twitter, which made many to quickly join the app, especially with the new limit put to the number of tweets users could view daily.

Actors such as, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Kunle Remi and Iyabo Ojo, joined the app within the first 24 hours.

Top artistes, David Adeleke aka Davido; Damini Ogulu aka Burnaboy; Divine Ikubor aka Rema; Ahmed Ololade aka Asake; Tiwa Savage, Temilade Opaniyi aka Tems; and Oyinkansola Aderibigbe aka Ayra Starr have also joined the app.

Music producers are also not left out. They include Michael Ajereh, aka Don Jazzy, Terkimbi Smith aka TG Omori, Osabuohien Osaretin, aka Sarz and Sunday Nweke popularly referred to as Masterkraf.
