Daurawa back as Kano Hisba boss after reconciliation with gov Yusuf 

The Commander General of Kano State Hisba Board who resigned last Friday, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has resumed following a reconciliatory meeting with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Recall that Daurawa announced his resignation in a viral video on Friday, March 1st, 2024, in Kaduna where he was attending a retreat organised by the State House of Assembly.

The reconciliation effort was led by a “Coalition of Ulama and Islamic organisations in Kano State.

The Coalition Secretary, Dr Sa’id Ahmad Dukawa, confirmed Daurawa’s resumption in a press release on Monday night.

Daurawa had attributed his resignation to some comments made by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf regarding his work during the week.
