Diplomacy and wisdom required to handle President Trump’s threat – Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged President Bola Tinubu’s administration to handle the President Donald recent threat to launch military action against terrorists in Nigeria with wisdom and diplomacy.
He advised the government to act swiftly in engaging the U.S. diplomatically, saying, “My children, if I were asked to make suggestions, I will say quietly to our government, move fast, move diplomatically, move wisely. Find a way to convince the president of America to please delay his actions for about 100 days.”
Adeboye further urged the Nigerian government to hold its security agencies accountable during that period.
“Come home and say to our security chiefs: get rid of these terrorists within 90 days, or resign,” he added.
Trump had earlier designated Nigeria as a “country of particular concern” and warned of possible military intervention, citing continued violence against Christians and the government’s alleged failure to protect religious minorities.
The Nigerian government has since dismissed the accusations, insisting that no religious group is being targeted or persecuted in the country.
