Doctors said my wife had HIV, I rejected it – Bishop David Abioye

Founder of the Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly, Bishop David Abioye, has revealed how his wife, Mary Abioye, was once diagnosed with HIV during the COVID-19 pandemic but was later confirmed negative after he declared his faith in divine healing.

The respected cleric made the revelation during a recent sermon, where he recounted how his unshaken faith in God turned a frightening medical report into a testimony.

According to Bishop Abioye, doctors initially claimed that his wife had tested positive for HIV, but he immediately rejected the report, declaring that such sickness could not stay in his household.

He went on to emphasize that healing, according to scripture, requires boldness and not negotiation.

“Healing is not for gentlemen. You don’t negotiate sickness to go; you crush it to go. Some people are negotiating with bandits, and that’s why their problems persist,” he added.

The bishop further shared that the “prince of this world” — referring to Satan — used that moment to test him but found nothing, a testimony he said confirmed his divine immunity through faith.
