El-Rufai family announces burial of late matriach

The El-Rufai family of Kaduna State has announced the date for the burial of their matriach, the late Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.

Among others, late Umma, was the mother of former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

Honourable Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, representing the Kaduna North Federal Constituency, made the announcement on behalf of the family.

Recall Hajiya Umma passed away this week in Cairo, Egypt.

The family confirmed that the Janazah prayer will be held at the National Mosque in Central Area, Abuja, followed by her burial at Gudu Cemetery, Apo.

1. In a statement on Saturday night, Bello said, “In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. On behalf of our family elders, I am honored to announce the Janazah prayer for our beloved grandmother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, who passed away yesterday. The prayer will take place at the National Mosque, Central Area, Abuja at 1pm, followed by burial at Gudu Cemetery, Apo. We appreciate all the prayers, visits, and well wishes.”
