Singer Timi Dakolo and Apostle Lazarus have put their differences aside, according to a recent post on the cleric’s Instagram page.

The two had been engaged in a public debate after Apostle Lazarus criticised gospel singers for charging high fees for their performances.

Dakolo countered the cleric, questioning the authenticity of an alleged invoice of Lazarus and pointing out the pastor himself charges for his school of ministry.

However, in a fresh post, Apostle Lazarus shared his photo with Dakolo and Apostle Iren, indicating that the two have reached a mutual understanding.

Lazarus praised Dakolo as a “music legend” who genuinely cares about the welfare of musicians.

The cleric acknowledged that the pain and concerns of musicians are real and expressed commitment to building better structures to support them.

He also emphasised the need for hosts and guests to do better in the future.

Lazarus wrote on Instagram: “My brother @timidakolo is a music legend. Give him his flowers. What a man! He genuinely carries the burdens of musicians. His concerns are real. I love you. Better structures will be built. Pain is real. From pulpit to the pew, the pain is real, but we will be fine.

“This generation will not have a carryover of pain. Hosts will do better. Guests will do better. We will have a better nation together. I don’t know how to edit my brother @pst_iren out of the picture.”
