Finally court grants Chioma Okoli N5m bail

A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted Chioma Okoli N5 million bail with two sureties in like sum.

The women is facing trial following allegations related to her online comments about Erisco Foods Limited’s tomato paste product.

Okoli is being charged with conspiracy and cyberstalking over her review of the tomato mix produced by Erisco Foods Limited.

She appeared again in court on Friday morning after spending days in a prison in the Suleja area of Abuja.

The case has been adjourned until June 13, 2024, for further proceedings.
