Fire guts Rivers State Pension Board office within govt secretariat
A section of the Rivers state government secretariat in Port Harcourt has been gutted by fire.
While the cause of the fire was not immediately known, it was gathered that the affected section houses the Rivers State Pension Board.
Governor Siminalayi Fubara had dissolved the Rivers State Pension Board about a week ago.
The governor had also directed the State Accountant General to handle the functions of the board until a new one is constituted.
