Hackers seizes education minister’s phone number, controls WhatsApp

The telephone number of the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, has been hacked and his WhatsApp page is being used by unidentified persons.
The Director of Press and Public Relations of the education ministry, Folashade Boriowo, in a statement on Friday, urged everyone to disregard any message of request received from the said number until further notice.
“We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause.
“The matter has been reported to the relevant authorities and is under investigation.
“We advise all members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.” Boriowo said.
