Hamas national security forces leader, Jehad Mheisen, killed by Israeli strike

An Israeli strike has killed the head of the Hamas-led national security forces, Jehad Mheisen, and members of his family in their house, a Hamas-aligned news agency reported.

IDF spokesperson Peter Lerner said, “We are determined to restore safety and security to our people.”

Recall that Israel had said it was attacking Hamas terrorists wherever they may be in Gaza, describing them as ‘dead men walking’, and accusing the group’s leaders and fighters of taking shelter among the civilian population.
