I’m not leaving PDP for anywhere, Sokoto deputy gov denies resignation letter

The Sokoto State Deputy Governor, Manir Dan’Iya, hax denied resigning from the the People’s Democratic Party.

There had been reports that he (Dan’ Iya) had dumped the PDP .

But the Director of Press, Office of the Deputy Governor, Aminu Abubakar, said his boss had dismissed the news of his resignation from the party.

According to Aminu, the deputy governor said he is still a member of the PDP in the state.

Aminu added that the deputy governor “is indeed a senatorial candidate of the party in the forthcoming general elections”.

Aminu said, “The deputy governor has asked his supporters and members of the PDP in the state to ignore the alleged letter in circulation.

“He described the letter carrying his purported resignation as a product of the imagination of his opponents.

“He just called me on the telephone to inform me that he is not leaving the party for anywhere. He said he remains a member of the PDP in the state”.
