Oluwatosin ‘Mr Eazi’ Ajibade, the Nigerian singer, has revealed that he has invested in businesses in 19 African countries.

In a speech at the 2026 Africa Prosperity Dialogues, the 34-year-old said he has spent recent years building companies to ease cross-country barriers across the continent.

He explained that his work now spans multiple markets across Africa, with ventures active in nearly 20 countries.

The musician-turned-investor added that one of his firms handles 4 million financial dealings daily, which he described as one of his proudest achievements.

“In the last four years of my career, I have worked as an entrepreneur, focusing on solving this problem of friction in Africa, which acts as a roadblock to making Africa more borderless,” he said.

“I have invested in businesses that are now operating in 19 African countries. One company I am particularly proud of processes four million transactions daily across these countries.”

Mr Eazi is a co-founder of PawaPay, a fintech startup that operates in Africa. He also runs EmPawa Music, a record label, and launched Choplife, a betting company, in 2024.

In 2025, Mr Eazi married Temi, the daughter of Femi Otedola, the Nigerian business tycoon.
