JUST IN: Gunshots in Iwo Road, protest erupts in Rivers, chaos in Ifo [VIDEOS]
The crisis emanating as a result of the naira scarcity continue to spread to other parts of the country.
Theeditorial.ng had earlier reported the protests in Mile 12, Agege and Ogun communities.
This medium gathered that gunshots were heard around the popular Iwo Road in Ibadan around noon time.
Commuters were also left stranded in Ifo, Ogun State as motorists refused to work.
Also, protest has allegedly broken out in the Diobu and Mile 1 areas of Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
According to the report, banks are being set on fire with people are out on the roads protesting the new naira redesign.
The pictures show banks being set on fire by angry protesters while weapon-wielding men are seen on the streets of the state protesting.
Residents living in that area have been advised to stay indoors due to gun shots being heard.
