King Salman of Saudi Arabia hospitalised for pneumonia

The King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been reportedly hospitalised and will undergo medical tests on Sunday evening for lung inflammation.

The Saudi royal court confirmed the development in a terse statement issued on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

The statement said, “The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may Allah protect him – will undergo some medical tests this evening, Sunday, 3 Rabi` al-Akhir 1446 AH, corresponding to October 6, 2024 AD, based on the recommendations of the Royal Clinics, due to pneumonia.
