Kwara House leader dies, for burial 4pm Monday

The Majority Leader, Kwara House of Assembly,  Abubakar Mogaji Olawoyin, is dead.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker,  Abdulquadr Yusuf, confirmed this on Monday in Ilorin.

Olawoyin, of the All Progressives Congress  represented Ilorin Central Constituency.

He died in the early hours of Monday after a brief illness.

Islamic burial rites will hold at 4pm at Magajin Geri family house, Surulere, Ilorin.

Also, a statement by the Chairman, Kwara State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Youth, Sports and Tourism, Awolola Ayokunle, said, “The Kwara State House of Assembly announces with regret the demise of Hon. Magaji Abubakar Olawoyin, member representing Ilorin Central State Constituency and Leader of the House.

“The sudden event occurred in the early hours of Monday 9th January, 2023 after a brief illness.

“Janazah will hold at 4pm at Magajin Geri family house, Surulere, Ilorin. May Allah repose his soul in Jannatu Firdauz”.
