The Lagos State Government has provided solar power for the command offices of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency across the 57 Local Governments and Local Development Council Authorities of the state.

The solar panels and its accessories were fitted to ensure uninterrupted power supply to enhance efficiency in service delivery.

The various commands were also provided with additional scooters for mobility and more protective gears to boost their morale.

At the inauguration of the equipment, Adebola Anofi, Lead Consultant of the company that provided the technology, said the cops officers had been trained in the proper handling of the solar panels and accessories in order to ensure they last long and serve at optimal levels.

In his address the General Manager of the Agency, Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan, said the solar systems would enhance work outputs and reduce delivery time which often used to be longer occasioned by power outages.

Oyekan admonished the officials to handle the solar equipment with care like their personal properties.

Oyekan thanked Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his visionary leadership and constant provision of conducive working environments for the Agency.

“This equipment like your salaries are provided with the tax payers’ money and requires your utmost devotion at all times. Your service delivery must show your appreciation for Mr Governor’s unwavering dedication to the safety and security of Lagos residents,” Ifalade said.
