Meghan Markle celebrates daughter, Princess Lilibet, who clocks 4 years June 4

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex and wife of Prince Harry of England, has shared the clearest glimpse of Princess Lilibet as she marked her daughter’s fourth birthday on Instagram.

Lilibet marked her birthday on June 4, turning 4 years old, and Meghan Markle honored the occasion with a post on Instagram.

She posted, “Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives — and each day is brighter and better because of it,”

“Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!” Meghan added

The Duchess of Sussex usually only shares photographs of her daughter, who is seventh in line to the throne, pictured from behind to protect her privacy.

But in today’s photo Lili’s eyes and the top half of her face can be seen, with her nose and mouth covered by Meghan’s arms as she hugs the princess.

The Duchess shared the black and white snap of herself cuddling Lilibet, who was sat on her lap, with the pair both sporting windswept hair.

Meghan, 43, and Prince Harry, 40, married in May 2018 and welcomed their first child, Prince Archie, now 6, a year later.

In 2020, the couple stepped back from their royal duties in the UK and relocated to California, where Lilibet was born in June 2021.
