Adedeji Adeleke, father of Nigeria Music Star David,has claimed that he generates 15 per cent of the country’s electricity through his power plants.

Adeleke stated this at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church’s General Conference Annual Council on Tuesday.

He highlighted his involvement in the electricity business, adding that he planned to launch Nigeria’s largest thermal power plant, a 1,250 MW facility, in January 2025.

Adeleke said his company employed Chinese engineering firms and had made significant investments in power generation.
