Professor Ojo said the overall best award won by Ayomikun said was a testament that FUOYE products were capable of competing favourably with their peers globally.
Ojo said: “For FUOYE, it is a recognition of the quality her faculty and the visibility of our University.
“Fellowship award is the highest professional recognition. The reputation of any university is measured by her visibility and it is directly related to the impact of the contributions in terms of national economic development, knowledge economy and government’s policies of the academics in the University.
“For me as an individual, it is a recognition of my colleagues and my modest contributions to knowledge.
“We also thumb up our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Fasina, for providing quality leadership and the enabling environment to thrive.”
Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Fasina has congratulated the team, describing them as a good ambassador of the Nigeria’s fastest growing university.
