Nice part of me is dead, buried – Nedu Wazobia

Popular media personality Chinedu Ani, better known as Nedu Wazobia, has declared that the “nice part” of him is gone for good, following controversies surrounding his role on The Honest Bunch podcast.
Nedu expressed frustration over how his kindness had been taken for granted and how he had been “abused” by people he once considered friends, hence his decision to step down from the podcast.
“If you have my number, please delete it. I no longer wish to be reachable or accessible. The nice part of me is dead and buried,” he added.
The recent controversy surrounding him comes amid backlash over an explosive podcast episode in which comedian DeeOne alleged that social media critic VeryDarkMan had intimate relationships with men.
In response, VDM accused Nedu of orchestrating the allegations and leaking private conversations between them. He also claimed that Nedu had exploited him by revealing personal details about his alleged sexual encounters.
Addressing the controversy, Nedu maintained that his role on The Honest Bunch was to spark thought-provoking discussions and debates—a job he believes he successfully carried out.
“Rather than engaging in petty fights, I have decided to clear the air by stepping away from the show,” he said. “My job was to ask tough questions that would provoke discussions, and I believe I have done that.”
Refuting claims that he was fired, Nedu insisted that his departure was his decision, adding that everyone has a right to their opinions and how they react to issues discussed on the platform.
