Ogun farmer wins freezer, cash during Yayi Welfare Initiative programme
Mrs Hannah Matthew has been empowered with deep freezer and cash gift in the Yayi Welfare Scheme.
Matthew resides in Ilewo Orile in the Abekuta North Area of Ogun State.
The Yayi Welfare Scheme is a poverty alleviation initiative put in place to ensure dividends of democracy are shared from bottom to top, particularly in the rural communities of Ogun Central.
Mathew won the deep freezer of the Yayi Welfare Scheme, powered by Abeokuta North Team, in a raffle draw at the monthly meeting of Yayi Assembly in Ilewo Orile ward 15 of Abeokuta North Local Government Area.
The middle-aged father added that the support she got from the Yayi Welfare Scheme would alleviate her burden.
Mathew disclosed that with the gift of a deep freezer, she would consider venturing into the selling soft drinks and others assorted drinks.
Other beneficiaries went home with many gift items and cash awards as they prayed for successful outings for Senator Adeola, aka Yayi in 2027 Governorships Election.
The initiative shows that the Senator, who many are rooting for as next Ogun governor will soon bring many dividends to the Gateway State.
