Olodo Ide: Oluremi Tinubu invokes President’s cognomen on 74th birthday

President Bola Tinubu marks his 74th birthday today (Sunday), and his wife, Oluremi Tinubu has penned a deep message to show gratitude, love, faith and devotion.

A former Senator, Remi invokes Tinubu’s cognomen to describe his character and heritage.

She hails her husband for staying the course in making Nigeria great and uses his traditional cognomen — Akanbi omo olodo ide — to appreciate his sacrifices.

The First Lady in a statement she personally signed, laced her tribute with with prayer and affection, describing the President’s new age as both a milestone and a renewed call to national service.

Remi Tinubu also invoked divine guidance over her husband’s leadership, expressing hope for strength, peace and sound health as he continues to steer the country toward growth and opportunity.

She wrote, “To God be all the glory for the gift of life and yet another birthday anniversary.

“I celebrate you and I pray God gives you divine health, strength, joy and peace as you take Nigeria to her Eldorado of great wealth and opportunities.
