OOU admission officer, Lamina, bags PhD

The admission officer of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Adedeji Abiodun Lamina, has bagged a doctoral degree.
Lamina successfully defended his doctoral project in Yoruba language and literature on Thursday and got the famous ‘congratulation Dr.’ from the panel, which approved his project and title.
The newest doctor, who wrote on ‘Thematic and Stylistic Analysis of The Lyrics of Selected Songs of Ebenezer Obey and Sunny Ade For Societal Development,” was reportedly commended for the depth of his research.
Expectedly, friends old school mates and other well-wishers were excited at the new level attained by Dr Lamina, who will mark his birthday on December 27.
Some of his old friends in the Ijebu Ode Grammar School and Tai Solarin College of Education had many things to say.
One of them, Adekunle Sogbesan, wrote, “Congratulations to my dear brother Dr Adedeji Lamina on the conferment of PhD. More power to your elbow and greater strides.
“May you profit plenty from the new achievement in JESUS name. Amen.”
Another JOGSmate, Segunmaru Olalekan, wrote, “Many congratulations to our own Alhaji Lamina. l pray Allah makes it the begining but not end to your greatness aamin.”
JOGSMATE Kazeem Runsewe wrote, “Congratulations to you my dear brother for your achievement in the academic world. Almighty Allah will give you the grace to do more happily and effortlessly in life. Ameeeeeeen.”
A collosus in the health sector, Dotun Songolana, said, “O ku orire, oye a mori lagbara Edumare. Mi o ni fi ede geesi ki e.”
A legendary broadcaster, Wole Otayemi, said, “Ore mi abinukole. Hearty Congratulations on your academic success. More powers to your elbow. Congratulations Dr and happy birthday in advance. Cheers.”
A former Student Union President and former President of the OSCE/TASCE Alumni, Julius Adeyemi, said, “This is to join the entire academic world and beyond to congratulate the newest Ph.D holder in the universe, our own Dr. Adedeji Abiodun Lamina, on your conferment of the Ph.D degree. You are indeed a great Ambassador and we are proud of you and this noble achievement.”
