The Senator representing Oyo North District in the National Assembly, Dr. Abdulfatai Buhari, on Sunday tasked the newly recruited youths into the Nigeria Police Force from Oke-Ogun and Ogbomoso areas of Oyo State to be good ambassadors of the area.

Recall that Buhari was last year voted best performing Senator by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oyo State Council.

To make their training a huge success in the ongoing 2021/2022 police recruitment, Buhari also provided logistics including financial assistance to all the beneficiaries.

Buhari urged them to be of good conduct during their six-month training.

He said, “I am very happy and hereby congratulate our successful candidates in the just concluded Police recruitment exercise. They all passed the final examinations and underwent the screening and medical stages successfully. I urge you all to be good ambassadors of Oyo North like your predecessors who just passed out early this month.I wish you well.”

The successful candidates are to resume at Police Training School, Ibadan between July 23 and 30 for their training.
