Papa Ajasco returns to screens with Gen Z Papi

Fans across Africa can look forward to a rerun of the award-winning Papa Ajasco & Company season, Gen Z Papi, starting November 25, 2025, on terrestrial and satellite television.

The longest-running TV comedy in Nigeria will air all 37 episodes of the season following strong viewer demand since the weekly broadcast ended in July 2025.

Producer Wale Adenuga Jnr said, “The feedback on our Gen Z Papi season has been really awesome. While we are working on a new season, we are thrilled to replay all 37 episodes on television. All episodes also remain available for free on our YouTube channel, WapTVChannel.”

Gen Z Papi follows the iconic character, Papa Ajasco, as he rises to fame as an Afrobeats musician while juggling family matters and musical rivalry with Emperor Agu.

The season features beloved characters like Pa James, Mama Ajasco, Boy Alinco and Miss Pepeiye, alongside new talents like Jude Chukwuka, Jide Kosoko, Rotimi Salami, Francis Odega, and Lalude.
