PHOTOS: How Nigerians are marking #EndSARSMemorial 2 years after Lekki Toll gate shooting
Nigerian celebrities including Folarin Falana, popularly called Falz and Adebola Adebayo, otherwise known as Mr Macaroni, on Thursday morning delivered a speech as Nigerians mark two years of the Lekki Toll gate shooting with the #EndSARS memorial procession in Lekki, Lagos State.
Some victims of the crisis were also present at the #EndSARS memorial ground to unravel what was left of them following the incident that took place on Tuesday night, October 20, 2020.
During his speech, Mr Macaroni stated that he was not prepared to disappoint those who lost their lives during the EndSARS protest in 2020. Instead, he is willing to seek justice for every individual who lost their life on that fateful night.
Additionally, Macaroni mentioned that the Nigerian government should do better by providing adequate security and basic amenities for the people.
Falz stated that the legacy of those who died on October 20, 2020, would not be erased, hence, the aim and objective of the memorial procession is to make sure the Lagos state and Nigerian government do the needful by adequately protecting the lives of the youths in the country.
He went on to admonish Nigerian youths to become more ‘politically aware’ and vote for the right presidential candidate in the coming general election.

FALZ, you are a great man!
Even when those who picked up the EndSARS idea with you deserted, you still chose not to back down and led the remembrance today, this generation and generations to come will continue to remember you for good..#Lekkitollgate #LekkiMassacre2020 RIP pic.twitter.com/H5TyXZniBT
