“Please take my pain Lord, Akeredolu begs God

The Governor of Ondo State, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, has prayed to God to take away his pain.

The governor prayed that the Almighty God would  be moved by his compassion to heal, restore and comfort him.

Akeredolu posted the  prayer on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

Akeredolu whose health situation had become a major concern among his friends and supporters, said the immunity he enjoyed did not extend to the state of health.

He posted, “Father God, thank you for your compassion. It gives me peace to know that you understand my pain and fear, that by your love you are moved with compassion for me, and that you have the power to heal, restore, and comfort me.

“Please take my pain, Lord, and by your boundless compassion fill me with your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
